Gary's Barbeque competes mainly in Kansas City Barbeque Society barbeque
competitions. We compete in all four categories of Chicken, Ribs, Pork and Beef Brisket.

Gary's Barbeque wins 1st Place in Ribs!!!
It was a beautiful place for a competition. On top of Snowshoe Mountain. Gary was by
himself this time and kept very busy throughout the night and especially during turn-ins. Luckily he had a little help
from Bill's Grill to tend his fire for a couple of hours while he caught a nap.
Our great friends Chris Cappell and his Dizzy Pig Cooking team won Grand Champion...Again. Tough
competitors and great guys. Congratulations Chris, Andy and Kenny! Also.. Bill the Grill Guy (Small) won Reserve
Grand Champion. It was great seeing two great friends up there on stage together.

Danville, Virginia May 19 & 20, 2006
Gary's Barbeque had a great time at Danville this year. All of our entries finished in the middle
of the pack except Linda's Peaches and Cream Crepes with Ice Cream finished 6th in the dessert category... Way to go Linda!!
There were 46 teams competing and we finished overall 22nd. Our great friend Chris Cappell and his Dizzy Pig Cooking
team won Grand Champion. Congratulations Chris, Andy and Kenny!
